A reputable Contractor is seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Mechanical Contracts Manager in Dublin, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This position involves overseeing various projects across the city.

With a recent influx of new contracts across different sectors, there is ample room for growth and advancement within the company.

The ideal candidate should be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of mechanical contracts
  • Coordinate activities of mechanical workers efficiently
  • Manage multiple projects valued up to £2 million+
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams
  • Prepare risk and method assessments for mechanical contracts
  • Attend various meetings to monitor project progress
  • Manage schedules and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure profitability and timely completion of contracts

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Mechanical background in construction with a strong technical understanding
  • Financial and cost management skills
  • Management experience in system development and maintenance
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and driven mentality
