Job Description
- Repairs – Diagnose and fault find electrical components following Trimble guidelines. Perform quality product repairs, record job details accurately, and communicate with Workshop Manager.
- New Equipment Preparation – Prepare new Sales and Hire equipment to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Rental Equipment Returns and Preparation – Check, test, and return products received back from the field within 5 days. Ensure fleet availability and invoicing of damaged products.
- Service Spares Inventory – Maintain accurate records of parts used for product preparations and repairs. Keep records of items used within billing sheets.
- Systems – Maintain SITECH/Trimble Systems and records, ensuring traceability of works.
- Training – Develop product knowledge through in-house Trimble Training.
Skills, Education & Experience
- Proven experience/qualifications in electronics repair.
- Strong IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective problem solver with analytical skills.
- Committed attitude with a customer focus.
Knowledge
- Experience in construction equipment technology preferred.
- Familiar with construction site operations using machine control systems desired.
- Operation of heavy construction equipment an advantage.
- Experience in a technology-based environment.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Commercial awareness.
