Summary of the Role:- The ideal candidate will be a key member of the Business stakeholders' team involved in a Core banking transformation project. They will be tasked with clearly communicating the business needs for the new system, ensuring the capture and validation of business requirements, and developing business cases. This role will involve collaborating with various departments and the Technology team to deliver best-in-class customer experiences in line with the Bank's objectives.
- Will oversee the development of business requirements within the Bank's Corporate lending platform and their integration into the broader technology landscape, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
- Has expertise in managing stakeholders from departments like Credit Policy Operations, Business, Legal, and Conduct.
- Is knowledgeable about banking frameworks, regulatory policies, local market practices in Ireland & UK, and has hands-on experience in corporate lending including product design and Cost-Benefit Ratio analysis.
- Has handled corporate loan portfolios from operational and credit perspectives.
- Supports Management teams in securing approvals for major product releases by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborates effectively with colleagues from different teams to document business cases and ensure seamless communication.
- Can engage with key business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and implement technology solutions in the corporate banking domain.
- Ensures thorough documentation and timely approval of Product frameworks and project documents.
- Evaluates project team solutions to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Minimum 10 – 12 years of experience in lending, product development, operational processes in a leading Bank.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and banking practices.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment as part of a strong team.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and think flexibly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including report drafting and presenting.
- Positive and proactive attitude with the capacity to work independently.
- Analytical mindset and technical expertise coupled with a drive for change management.
- Ability to effectively communicate requirements to the project team.
