About the Opportunity
Working under the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing environmental health and safety standards for projects in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full implementation of the EHS system across all projects.
- Develop guidelines and processes to uphold required standards in health & safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) as well as PSCS documentation.
- Conduct audits to monitor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor personnel and subcontractors to ensure EHS compliance.
- Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards like ISO14000 & ISO45001.
- Proactively identify events and implement corrective measures.
- Manage employee training records and develop EHS intranet content.
Requirements
- Relevant 3rd level qualification.
- Familiarity with Irish Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Preferred certifications in First Aid and Manual Handling.
- Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, and Construction industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a positive attitude.
