Retail Horticulturist

We are seeking to recruit a Horticulturist for a client based in Co. Wexford. This is an excellent opportunity for a horticulturist with some experience to step into an already well established and successful business and assist with the already very high standards and add value to the role.

The Role:
This is a retail Horticulturist role and candidates should have some experience within the horticulture sector and some retail or sales or customer facing experience ideally in horticulture, but any other retail sector will be considered. This role is full-time and based in Wexford.

The role will involve:

• Assisting the store manager and the other horticulturists with all duties in store
• Assisting with display set up and merchandising
• Stock control and maintaining freshness of stock offering.
• Providing top quality customer service and being able to assist with customer queries
• Making sure health and safety is upheld and adhered to.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in all areas of the store.

Role Requirements:

• Ideally the candidate will hold some horticultural qualification and have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• A good knowledge of and interest in the horticulture sector
• Ability to work at a high standard in a busy environment
• Good organisational skills

Pay rate for this role is in the region of €13-15 per hour DOE
