As Financial Controller, your main goal is to lead and develop all financial activities related to the operations, supporting the achievement of Annual, Medium, and Long-Term EBITDA Targets set in the annual Budget and long-term planning.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of Management accounts every month following Group deadlines.
  • Utilize ERP system extensively and provide suggestions for continuous system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, tendering, and engineers to ensure accurate project costings.
  • Track margin analysis by project, prepare reports, and offer cost analysis.
  • Participate in Budgeting and Forecasting multiple times throughout the year as required by the Group.
  • Supervise accounts assistant in debtor and creditor control.
  • Provide guidance to the Accounts Payable team regarding supplier-related queries.
  • Possess essential experience in Cash and Working Capital Management.
  • Maintain up-to-date records with Revenue and ensure tax compliance in Ireland and the UK.
  • Handle any Audit inquiries and other miscellaneous tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrate essential ability to work independently and take initiative.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years of PQE.
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing and Engineering Industry is a must.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, previous exposure to SAP is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional team interactions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and performance targets.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and strategic thinking skills.
