Description of the Position

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate to develop or adjust the product offer (contracts, pricing, new guarantees, regulatory modifications)
  • Analyze the profitability of products within the contexts of Solvency II and IFRS17
  • Evaluate the impact of different assumptions on results and perform stress tests
  • Adhere to underwriting regulations when creating pricing and underwriting schedules
  • Record new pricing and underwriting schedules
  • Engage with Business Development to grasp customer and partner requirements
  • Conduct technical analyses to update risk assumptions by product, partner, and coverage
  • Present findings in various committees (Business, Technical, Development)
  • Provide assistance to technical and non-technical team members in Dublin and France

Analysis & Projects:

  • Conduct analysis of client portfolios and prepare reports and presentations
  • Carry out experience analysis and contribute to updating pricing assumptions and assessing pricing adequacy
  • Contribute to ad-hoc technical reports/projects and business plans with business and Actuarial teams

Additional Tasks:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of software tools used by the underwriting department (especially pricing and business planning tools) and related documentation

External Relations:

  • Internally, collaborate with other teams in the Actuarial department, Business Development, IT, Finance, and head office
  • Externally, engage with partners, audit, and actuarial functions
  • Occasional travel to France may be required for role responsibilities
