General Foreman

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including subcontractors and tradespeople.

• Ensure adherence to project specifications, plans, and quality standards.

• Lead and motivate all on - site construction teams.

• Collaborate with the project manager to develop and implement project schedules.

• Manage and ensure deadlines are made on a tight schedule.

• Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure workmanship and construction materials meet project specifications and standards.

• Provide timely progress reports, raise concerns, and communicate issues to project management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven experience as a General Foreman in civil engineering or construction projects, with utilities experience preferred.

• Thorough understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.

PACKAGE

• Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with potential for extra hours nearing project completion.

• Office-based role with occasional travel to various worksites.
