The Job:
As a key part of the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of duties across the organisation & more specifically supporting the company's on-going procurement activities.
This will include duties such as setting up new suppliers on internal systems, requesting quotations from suppliers & negotiating purchasing terms, ensuring purchased products meet specified terms & delivery criteria, liaising with Accounts colleagues on invoicing duties, updating project listings & assisting management teams with their individual as well as departmental needs.
Your Skills & Experience that we need:
· 3rd level degree qualified ideally in business studies, purchasing or a related discipline.
· 3+ years' experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain focused administration role.
· Proficient in MS Office and other software systems.
· Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to engage with internal & external stakeholders.
· Proven ability to self-manage & take ownership of projects & duties.
The Offer:
The role is a permanent position with base salary depending on experience/qualifications expected to be approx. 32-35k
This role is fully office based in Co. Clare so candidates must be based in the region or willing to commute/relocate here.
Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit or eligibility to work permanently in Ireland will not be considered.
