Private Equity Fund Accounting Senior Analyst

The Senior Fund Accounting Analyst role involves maintaining fund clients' accounting records, acting as a link between the funds and investment advisors, and preparing financial statements and regulatory reports for the funds.
What you'll do:
- Communication with the funds' investment advisor
- Calculation of the funds' expenses and accruals
- Processing shareholder activity and reconciling with the funds' transfer agent
- Maintenance of accounting records
- Conducting security and cash reconciliations
- Ensuring fund compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Calculation and reporting of the funds' Net Asset Values (NAV's)
- Analysis of changes in funds' values in relation to market fluctuations
- Assistance in preparing financial statements and audits
- Adherence to fund accounting processing procedures and controls
- Meeting client and investor reporting deadlines
- Establishing good relationships with external clients and internal teams
- Training and mentoring team members
- Performing assigned duties in line with safety protocols
- Engaging in adhoc tasks/projects when necessary
What you will bring to the table:
- 12 months+ experience in Fund operations; experience in Alternative Funds
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Finance or Business qualification
- Previous experience in fund operations, specifically in Private Equity funds
- Familiarity with Advent Geneva and SunGard Investran systems
- Knowledge of the Investment Services industry in Europe
