Job Description

We are seeking an experienced candidate to work with a team of highly skilled professionals in delivering mission-critical services and solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring mission-critical quality in our products. Your tasks will include:

  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and testability of software designs.
  • Communicating test progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders, including developers, architects, and product managers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of testing activities and results.
  • Leading creation and execution of test plans and scripts for project-based, new software rollout in close collaboration with architects and developers.
  • Designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Triaging software problems prior to production rollouts.
  • Participating in reviews of architectural and design requirements to ensure testability and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Developing test plan/schedule and maintaining test matrix based on development.
  • Using tools such as Quality Center or TestRail to track the progress of test case development and execution.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Significant experience in creating and executing test plans, and in developing and maintaining test infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and processes.
  • Skills in defect detection, debugging, and regression.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, bash, etc.).
  • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Knowledge/experience in RF/Telecommunications systems.
  • Exposure to Agile/DevOps development practices.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence.
  • Understanding of real-time processing in an embedded environment.
