The AML Programme team in Registration and Compliance (R&C, part of Selling Partner Risk) is seeking a Dutch-speaking quality control specialist to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the expansion of Amazon's payments businesses occurs with the necessary controls and quality processes, identifying opportunities for improvement while minimizing risks. The quality control specialist will be responsible for auditing and reporting high-complexity AML operational work, collaborating closely with operations teams and AML programme teams. The role involves performing AML quality audits, providing coaching and training to operations teams, and contributing to process enhancement. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of experience in Compliance/AML, and fluency in Dutch and English (B2+), along with knowledge of financial institutions compliance in the EU and strong problem-solving skills.
Key job responsibilities:

  • Perform AML quality audits on behalf of the Quality Assurance Team.
  • Partner with operational teams to deliver quality findings and support ongoing improvement opportunities.
  • Provide AML quality audit subject matter expertise during meetings, workshops, and leadership reviews.
  • Create and update guidance and program documents.
  • Conduct various types of investigations and audits.
  • Share industry expertise and provide professional feedback.
  • Apply analytical thinking to different product types within an AML framework.
  • Assist in improving operations, compliance policies, and risk management practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years experience in Compliance/AML, risk or assurance functions
- Fluent in Dutch and English (+B2)
- Knowledge of financial institutions compliance in EU, including anti-money laundering, credit compliance, consumer protection, data protection, anti-corruption regulations
- Strong problem-solving and operational process skills
- Ability to articulate concerns effectively and provide feedback
- Intermediate+ Excel skills
- High energy, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


- Master's degree in Compliance, Risk or Business
- CAMS Certification or other Compliance certification
