People Experience Graduate Intern

The People Experience team at eBay ensures that our employees have an amazing work experience. We're a global team that focuses on employee experience, enhancing our HR systems, and refining our processes. We're seeking a People Experience Graduate Intern to join us for a 12-month period starting in July, supporting employees in the EMEA region.

We need someone who is enthusiastic about helping our expanding employee base. In the EMEA region alone, the People Experience Team manages over 3,000 employees across 12 countries, assisting with various aspects of the employee lifecycle. This internship offers a chance to delve into different employee lifecycle phases and collaborate with different specialized teams (e.g., Benefits, Compensation & Payroll).

What You'll be Doing:
  • Handle HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, and various departments through a Case Management System and Livechat while adhering to Service Level Agreements.
  • Update HR records, employee files, and ensure compliance with accuracy.
  • Have a solid grasp of HR policies and processes for activities like new hires, terminations, benefits, and more.
  • Assist with onboarding tasks such as background checks, contract audits, etc.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and take part in continuous improvement projects.
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Customer-centric mindset in all aspects of work.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
