Senior Software Development Engineer, NAE - Network Observability
Amazon is looking for Sr. Software Development Engineers to build the software that observes one of the world's largest and most complex networks.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.

  • You are interested in being part of a highbar team with global responsibility for the Network Observability software used across all of Amazon's businesses.

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Experience in professional, noninternship software development
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including objectoriented design
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
