My client, a well-known financial services company across the country, now is recruiting for a Credit Analyst for their corporate team in Dublin on a permanent basis. The company will look to grow further over the coming years in this sector, resulting in further progression opportunities. In return not only further progression but fantastic salary on offer with great benefits and work life balance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, to include both qualitative and quantitative due diligence and appropriate financial analysis and stress testing.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive credit applications for presentation to Credit Committee.
  • Participation in meetings & conference calls with customers and market participants.
  • Assist in the on-going portfolio monitoring including timely review of financial / performance reports, and market trends / research that may impact the portfolio.
  • Play a role in the execution of a strategic plan for the sustainment and growth of key business opportunities for Corporate Banking.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of the customer relationship strategy for Corporate Banking customers.
  • Get involved in the management of the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio from a credit and risk perspective.

Your Experience & Skills:

  • Strong credit assessment and credit management skills. (financial analysis/lending, credit assessment, stress testing, cash flow analysis, etc.)
  • Good analytical skills together with an ability to think and act creatively.
  • Understand the lending process and understanding of the process of reviewing and analysing the performance of a loan in line with the terms and conditions of the legal documentation/Loan Agreement.
  • Commitment to participating in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients through the provision of a first class quality customized service.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while achieving high levels of accuracy.
  • MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word.
