Quality Technician, Point of Care at our facility in Swords, Dublin

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for Technical inspection of electro-mechanical parts & large in-vitro diagnostic instrumentation in a low volume, high complexity & highly regulated technology environment.
  • You will be responsible for completing, maintaining & reviewing all necessary paperwork and test data for each system/ module to ensure that accurate Quality records are available.
  • You will support quality aspects of instrument manufacture & support resolution in a timely manner to ensure daily output targets are achieved while developing, improving & maintaining good manufacturing practices & workmanship standards with a quality & process robustness focus.
  • As required, you will contribute to various Quality Assurance activities onsite supporting the manufacture of large IVD instrumentation while working collaboratively across the manufacturing site with engineering, production and procurement.

Your qualifications and experience:

Your attributes and skills:

  • You must have experience in being a part of teams & projects with good communications skills, written & verbal.
  • You must have strong trouble shooting & practical experience in instrument(s) and ability to anlayse data outputs for quality trends.
  • You must be computer literate (including MS Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint) with ability to Interface with Product Lifecycle tools such as SAP or other.
  • You should be a self-starter with a bias for action with ability to follow assignment through to completion. Good organization skills.
