The Role:

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and budget reconciliations
  • Identification of key Revenue and Margin drivers within the portfolio
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial forecast, pre close review of revenue and budget reconciliations
  • Build strong working relationships with the Monitoring Operations team
  • Utilize and disseminate operational metrics and trend to drive and improve financial performance
  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for operations with insightful commentary and analysis
  • Support the development and preparation of annual budget for GLP
  • Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations

  • Solid academic record and strong quantitative skills.
  • Analytically minded, seeks out problem solving opportunities
  • Effective interpersonal skills (verbal and written) to communicate with peers, managers and Business Lead executives.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop as an ICON employee and member of the Clinical Research Industry.
  • Prior relevant experience in financial analysis or financial planning and analysis is preferred, but not required.
  • Qualified Financial Professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or other relevant financial education).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
