initial 12-month contract in Cork.

We are seeking a proficient Software Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on support app development. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in app development, capable of stepping into the team seamlessly and contributing effectively from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Python or PHP.
  • Develop user interfaces using REACT, with an emphasis on responsive design.
  • Utilize MySQL for database management and basic queries.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in full stack web development.
  • Proficiency in Python or PHP.
  • Strong knowledge of REACT; JavaScript experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding and experience with MySQL.
  • Proven experience in app development with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
