The Company
Fineco Asset Management DAC ('FAM') is the Dublin based asset management subsidiary of FinecoBank S.p.A. ('FinecoBank'). FinecoBank ('Fineco') is a top European bank with a rich 20-year history and a fully digital DNA with a branchless approach since inception. Fineco offers an extensive range of products, providing a comprehensive one-stop-solution covering trading, investment, and payment services. They have crafted a proprietary platform that caters to all customer needs, offering a variety of trading and investment products from listed and OTC items to mutual funds and ETFs.
Fineco AM, established in May 2018, holds authorization from the Central Bank of Ireland as a UCITS Management Company and currently manages around €29.5 billion in assets. Fineco AM excels in managing fund-of-funds, single strategy funds, and has successfully introduced Solution Funds. In addition to portfolio management, key functions like Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Legal are also conducted locally. What began with a team of 5 employees has rapidly expanded over the last 5 years to nearly 80 FTEs, with significant growth (half the team was hired during the pandemic).
The Role
As a Structured Product Analyst reporting to the Head of Structured Product Solutions, you will be part of an analytical, inquisitive, and collaborative investment team. Your main responsibilities will revolve around managing Passive and ETF Funds and exploring new ideas for Structured Funds. Seeking a proactive, independent individual who thrives on fostering positive relationships and aims to make an impact in a fast-paced yet supportive setting. There is room for development in the role and future advancement. We are considering a long-term hybrid work arrangement, offering the possibility of remote work part of the time.
- Building and executing trades: Weekly resets on Passive Funds/ETFs and operations of Structured Funds.
- Detailed analysis and backtesting of products.
- Internal and external coordination of fund launches and daily management.
- Collaborating with other teams to prepare documentation for fund launches, investment committees, and board meetings.
- Monthly reporting duties covering positioning, performance, etc.
- Contributing to process enhancements and increasing efficiency.
Profile/Skills
- 2+ years of experience in the investment management sector is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of Derivatives.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Preferable familiarity with Python and/or SQL Database.
- A passion for and curiosity about financial markets and investments.
- Self-starter who can take the lead and work effectively independently.
- A dedicated team player.
