The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Postdoctoral Researcher for the Interoperable Data Structures for Energy System Stakeholders (IDES) project, where you will contribute to groundbreaking research in energy system integration and data interoperability. The Postdoctoral Researcher (PD1) will play a pivotal role in the IDES project, contributing to the research, development, and implementation of shared data repositories and data structures aimed at enhancing energy system integration and collaboration among power system stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at the intersection of energy systems, data management, and power system transformation. The PD1 will be responsible for conducting research, contributing to the project's white paper, and collaborating closely with the project team and the Global Power System Transformation (GPST) consortium.

The IDES project seeks to optimize energy system integration and improve data management practices within the energy industry by developing and implementing interoperable data infrastructures. The project is carried out in collaboration with the GPST consortium, a group of leading power system operators, research institutions, and international agencies focused on promoting power system transformation through technical collaboration and workforce development.

Salary

Post Doctoral Researcher level €42,783 p.a.(first point)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
