Position Summary:
The Lead Data Architect & Analytics Specialist will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and execution of data-driven solutions across the organization. This individual contributor role focuses on leveraging data to drive business insights, improve decision-making, and create value. The successful candidate will lead the journey from Industry 4.0 to 5.0 data solutions, develop the data architecture, and create a Unified Namespace (UNS) model for the business. Additionally, this role serves as the product owner for data solutions, ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of data products and services.
What you will do:
Strategic Data Leadership:
- Define and execute the data strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Drive the adoption of data analytics and data-driven decision-making across the company.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data for business improvement and innovation.
Data Architecture:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including the creation of a Unified Namespace (UNS) model.
- Ensure data architecture supports seamless integration across various systems, including manufacturing and enterprise IT systems.
- Implement best practices for data management, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Data Analytics & Insights:
- Develop and maintain advanced analytics models and algorithms to support business objectives.
- Implement AI and ML solutions to derive actionable insights from data.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and deliver analytics solutions that drive value.
Data Governance & Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
- Implement data quality management practices to maintain high standards of data accuracy and reliability.
Product Ownership for Data Solutions:
- Serve as the product owner for data solutions, managing the lifecycle of data products and services.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products and services on time and within scope.
Industry 4.0 to 5.0 Transition:
- Lead the organization's transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0 data solutions.
- Leverage emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing processes and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with business strategy.
- Communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data architecture, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
- Proven experience in leading data strategy and architecture initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
- Expertise in data analytics tools and technologies, including AI and ML.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Innovative thinker with the ability to envision new and improved approaches to problem-solving and engineering tasks.
- Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
