Full Time Veterinary Surgeon – County Meath, Ireland We are currently looking for an experienced Full Time Veterinary Surgeon to join an experienced team in County Meath, Ireland.
This position will involve working in a small animal clinic and requires 1 to 5 years of work experience in the veterinary field.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical services to the patients, while also delivering excellent customer service to clients.
The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications, experience and skills to provide the highest standard of veterinary care. Responsibilities Carry out routine medical and surgical procedures, such as vaccinations, spays/neuters, dental procedures, and physical examinations. Perform diagnostics such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests. Prescribe medications and provide instructions for at-home care. Maintain accurate patient records. Consult with clients and fellow veterinary staff to provide the best care for our patients. Keep up to date with advances in veterinary medicine. Provide emergency medical care as needed. Participate in community outreach activities to promote animal health and safety. Requirements Must have Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) degree or equivalent. At least 1-5 years of experience as a veterinary surgeon. Proficiency in veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
