The Role:

The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain Corporate Banking experience and develop within an informal international work environment dealing with colleagues from across the Bank. As a Junior Transaction Manager within Corporate Lending you are responsible for:

  • All duties included in the SLS function including and not limited to PCRA / Sanctions Risk assessment, LAM transaction management, portfolio related activities and KYC checks, amongst other items.
  • Liaising and coordinating with colleagues across the bank regarding the management and processing of certain Corporate Lending related processes.
  • Co-ordinate various projects for Corporate Sector Lending Dublin related to Reporting, Monitoring and Lending Analytics. These may include regulatory changes, internal policy changes, static data quality and various other activities required from time-to-time to support the department.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations relating to certain clients and / or transactions, as delegated by team head e.g. analysis of companies' key results, drafting of internal ratings and reports, processing of standardised credit cases, portfolio and data quality monitoring and workflow reporting.

Experience:

  • University level degree with preferably Finance / Accountancy as a major.
  • Compliance, Policy and Regulatory related issues and implementation.
  • Understanding of balance sheet, P&L and cash flow analysis.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a corporate banking / finance related environment.

Skills Required:

  • Strong team player, solutions oriented and pro-active with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • Good numerical ability.
  • Diligence and attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage deadlines.
