Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean" ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

This is a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize and standardize our core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data, and enable our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. As a key leader in the Innovative Medicine Transcend Team and the Value Chain Management organization, the Senior Manager is responsible for working with a team of Make and Quality experts in driving the process and capability integration between Advanced Therapies, new capabilities and new capacity teams, and the broader project team. They will enable integration across the Make and Quality functions to develop solutions that support end to end organization and requirements while maintaining the integrity and reliability of ERP template.

The Senior Manager will lead the integration of new business growth Make and Quality process design within the overall E2E design as well as strive to enable and standardize core business capabilities, products, and functional integration points to meet critical business process needs. They will partner with the Advanced Therapies Business and capacity growth teams to gain a deep understanding of current and future business needs/capabilities. A key requirement is to bench-mark within life sciences and use the learning to bring improvement to process and data documentation, and product deployment. This leader will deploy their experience and knowledge in supply chain and digital tools to effectively influence a breadth of business partners and global process owners.

Key Responsibilities:

Own Make and Quality as part of the end-to-end business process mapping forAdvanced Therapies and growth, scenario planning, solution design, integration, and design consistency across the impacted functions. Support development, maintenance, and alignment to the ERP Global Template as well as the program methodology. Ensure key business and project Make / Quality teams are integrated into the global template, designed, documented, and deployed in an effective manner within program timelines and scope.Lead a functional team of in-direct reports in mapping the business processes/needs to select and develop the right solutions, while ensuring that the solutions work in a well-integrated way with the other functions.Lead and support key phases of program execution to drive design closure, build prioritization, integration across functions, business simulation readiness, and business and cutover readiness. In collaboration with senior leaders, ensure design aligns strategies and Roadmaps.Partner with global template team of Make and Quality experts in design, development, maintenance, and improvement of global business operations and integration points.Own the Make and Quality establishment and implementation of Advanced Therapies and new growth project teams with design methodology, templates, tools, controls, and cadence. Partner with program leads to establish and deliver integrated project plans / schedules / work at appropriate quality, on time, and within budget.Partner with data governance team in shaping data standards that meet business capability needs.Ensure planning and execution of business simulation and validation/readiness.Support business adoption team to ensure readiness for new capabilities, site and business transition, and building individual and team capability. Develop and lead program presentations for senior-level Innovative Medicine partners to share project learning and program status.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of High School or equivalent diploma/degree is required; Bachelor's / University or equivalent degree strongly preferred
Experience and Skills:

Required:

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experienceBusiness functional experience (i.e., Operations or Quality) working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment and proven experience with large-scale SAP ERP replacement project(s)Minimum 2 years of business process design, engineering, or optimization Experience designing, developing, implementing, and leading Make and Quality technological processes within a global organization Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and negotiating/influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate at various levels including program teams / execution and senior leadership / strategic levels People management and development experience (direct or indirect reports and internal/external partners)
Preferred:

Experience effectively leading and governing functional decision-making bodies Experience in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templatesCertifications are helpful in one or more of the following: PMP, FPX, or equivalent project management; APICS; and/or Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry experience
Other:

Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally; proficiency in Dutch or Italian is helpfulMay require up to 50% domestic and international travel depending on work location and business needsRequires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 USD to $203,550 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
