Our client, a leading finance and asset management company are seeking experienced Analysts to join their growing team.

  • 3 - 6 month contracts, with a high likelihood of extension/permanency
  • Full-time, in Maynooth offices in Co. Kildare

As an Analyst you'll support the origination team in the ongoing provision of services spanning all stages of the origination cycle. This includes every stage of the mortgage application journey, from initial application, loan offer and drawdown/completion of the mortgage.

The Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analysing, validating and ensuring timely delivery of application information to the client and internally where required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Must have the ability to work in a structured process driven environment.
  • Validating and processing mortgage application information & documents in accordance with client requirements.
  • Assisting with the progression of a mortgage application by generating loan offer documentation in line with procedures & controls.
  • Running credit reference reports on applications on behalf of Clients.
  • Assist the business by managing incoming email correspondence via central mailbox management.
  • Professionally liaise with external broker network, internal departments & the origination client to fulfil the completion of a mortgage and ensure drawdown of funds in a timely manner.
  • Ability to assess mortgage documentation to ensure adherence to client credit policy and guidelines and ensuring applications are within Central Bank guidelines.
  • Managing the drawdown process once loan has been sanctioned, ensuring a seamless transition into primary servicing where applicable.
  • Ad hoc duties to include general administration on customer accounts and involvement in internal projects and change initiatives.
  • Where appropriate, provide mentoring support to other team members to promote staff development and maximise team performance.
  • Actively participates in and contributes to team meetings
  • Perform all tasks in compliance with policies, procedures and Central Bank Codes and regulations (where applicable), with specific adherence to Data Protection Regulation/GDPR.
  • Proactive approach and "can do" attitude required. Can adapt to multiple work activities on the mandate.
  • Responsible for reviewing, analysing, validating and ensuring timely delivery of Management Information and SLA reports to the client and for internal purposes
  • The role holder will be expected to participate in company and regulatory training on an ongoing basis and remain current with retail origination industry and CBI regulatory requirements and changes

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' Financial Industry experience (Banking, Asset Management, Mortgages, Lending or Data Analysis is highly desirable).
  • The ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Results focused with a particular emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of the MS office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills written, and verbal are essential.
  • Highly structured, organised and motivated individual.
  • Embraces new tasks/challenges and is a highly organised professional.
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment.
