Staff Nurse - Complex Care / Acquired Brain InjuryBrampton care is the first in the west of Ireland to open a solely dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury unit.Due to expansion, we are looking for a staff nurse to join us on a full-time permanent basis.If you are looking to take the next step in your career and would like to work in a supportive and caring environment then we are for youBrampton Care & Rehabilitation offer our nurses the opportunity to further education including completion of qualifications in Rehabilitation, Brain Injury, Neurosurgical, Neuro disability Nursing etc.Must have right to work in EU.Duties / Responsibilities· Possesses the specialised knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide care for residents.· Coordinates educational activities and uses appropriate resources to develop and implement an individualised teaching and discharge plan with residents and their families.· Performs hands-on nursing care by utilising the nursing process to achieve quality outcomes for residents.· Provides direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, demonstrates professional judgement, uses problem solving techniques and time-management principles, and delegates appropriately.· Coordinates nursing care activities in collaboration with members of the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate achievement of overall goals.· Coordinates a holistic approach to meeting patient's medical, vocational, educational, and environmental needs· Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with residents, their families, and health team members.· Acts as a resource and a role model for nursing staff and students and participates in activities such as nursing committees and professional.What do I need to work in Brampton Care & Rehabilitation· Registered NMBI Nurse· Acute Hospital experience min 12 months· Knowledge and understanding of HIQA· Knowledge of Complex Care, Experience desirable but not necessary.· Excellent Communication skills· Right to work in IrelandApply now Brampton Care & Rehabilitation where we will contact you with more information and to arrange an interview.Job Type: Full-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsLanguage training providedOn-site parkingEducation:Bachelor's (preferred)Experience:Nursing: 1 year (preferred)Hospital: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland registration (preferred)Work Location: In person
