Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Mechanical Building Services expert to join our team at our office in Dublin, to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in Ireland and internationally.
You will work across a variety of sectors, lead a team of expert engineers and CAD/Revit technicians, and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop and nurture outstanding client relationships to maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business, and you will motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers and CAD/Revit technicians across multiple sectors to deliver high-quality mechanical design solutions.
Manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Develop and nurture client relationships to maximise satisfaction and secure repeat business.
Mentor and motivate less experienced engineers to support professional growth and project success.
Qualifications
Chartered Engineer (or progressing to Chartership), educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
Extensive experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, etc.).
Strong understanding of low energy design and proven technical proficiency in relevant design software.
Customer- and quality-focused approach due to client-facing responsibilities.
Experience managing multiple large-scale projects and multi-discipline building services teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
Passion for creative and intuitive design.
