Job Description:
Lead Software Engineer C++ (Gameplay)
Playrix is one of the most successful mobile game development companies in the world.
Our games have been installed 2.3 billion times and are played by over 30 million people daily.
We are looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Dublin to lead the development of our gameplay projects.
The role involves leading a team of programmers, developing game features, optimizing performance, and maintaining high-quality code.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of C++ experience, experience managing a team, and a background in mobile game development.
Responsibilities include team management, process development, solving complex technical problems, code review, and game logic programming.
Our tech stack includes C++, Lua, Python, OpenGL ES, Metal, and a proprietary engine.
We require at least one year of experience managing a team of 3+ programmers and developing projects in C++.
Knowledge of modern C++ standards and experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal are preferred.
