About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and reporting, with experience in travel tech or related domains. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving search optimization, NLP systems, and various machine learning models.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  2. 2-4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
  3. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  4. Extensive experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  5. Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
  6. Experience with XGBoost and other classical machine learning algorithms
  7. Familiarity with BigQuery for large-scale data analysis and reporting
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  1. Experience in the travel tech industry
  2. Hands-on experience with Metaflow for managing data science workflows
  3. Knowledge of NLP techniques and language models
  4. Experience with search optimization and recommendation systems
  5. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  6. Contributions to open-source projects or research publications in relevant fields

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement machine learning models using XGBoost and other classical ML algorithms
  2. Design and maintain data pipelines using Metaflow for efficient model training and deployment
  3. Conduct in-depth data analysis and create comprehensive reports using BigQuery
  4. Contribute to the development of NLP systems and language models
  5. Optimize search algorithms and recommendation systems
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems
  7. Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
