Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products to customers nationwide.We are currently recruiting a Retail Supervisor for our Safety Direct Division to play a critical role in the promotion of sales, marketing, customer service and brand development.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all sales activities including sales, marketing, customer service and brand developmentDevelop good business relationships with all new and existing customersDeliver first class customer service at all timesResolve customer complaints as effectively as possibleMerchandising the floor space to maximise salesParticipate as a project team member and drive relevant projects through to implementationLead and train the team of Retail Store AssistantsEnsure to keep up to date with applicable regulations and safety legislationWork as part of a team to organise in-store promotionsIncrease business by maximising sales to each customerInform customers of the technical benefits of our products and have the confidence to discuss in great detailOther duties as assigned from time to timeDevelop relationships with supplier representativesStay in touch with current market trends and innovationsSkills and ExperienceExperience in a similar role would be an advantageDriven with a passion for a career in sales and/or customer supportAbility to identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunitiesGood communication, organisation and administration skillsFlexible and pro-active attitudeAbility to bring new ideas/initiatives to drive salesA technical or marketing background would be a distinct advantageStrong people management and leadership skills
