Naas Pharmacy is recruiting an experienced and reliable Part-Time OTC Assistant to join our team.This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, you will be asked to work one weekend per month.In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with OTC medications, providing expert advice, and supporting the pharmacy team in day-to-day operations.To ensure a mature and responsible team, only candidates aged 19 and older will be considered for the position.Key Responsibilities:Assist customers in selecting and purchasing OTC medicationsProvide advice and information on OTC products, including dosage and potential side effectsMaintain OTC product inventory, ensure proper stock levels, and manage product displaysEnsure customer inquiries are answered professionally and efficientlyEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsHelp maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacyRequirements:Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar OTC role min 1 yearKnowledge of common OTC medications and health productsExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamA positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality serviceAvailability to work an occasional weekend, to fill in holiday leave etc.Benefits:Competitive salary depending on experienceGenerous staff discountsStaff eventsFlexible work scheduleOn site parkingJob Types: Part-time, PermanentBenefits:Company eventsOn-site parkingEducation:Leaving Certificate (required)Experience:Retail Pharmacy: 1 year (required)OTC Pharmacy Assistant: 1 year (required)Language:proficiency in English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
