This role is based in Dublin and has the possibility of coming with a van for the right candidate.The Onsite Support Technician will be the first point of contact for technical issues related to printers and other office equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues, provide excellent customer service, and coordinate with more experienced engineers when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical know-how and strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to manage day-to-day operations smoothly while ensuring customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and Resolve Minor Issues: Provide first-level support by diagnosing and resolving basic technical problems with printers and related equipment.Monitor Device Status: Regularly check the status of all devices using remote monitoring tools and proactively address any issues, such as toner replacement or paper jams.Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with onsite staff to understand and document issues, providing clear updates on the status of repairs or service requests.Escalate Complex Issues: Identify when a problem is beyond first-level support capabilities and escalate to more experienced engineers as needed, ensuring timely resolution.Basic Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing toners, replacing parts, and cleaning devices to prevent breakdowns.Documentation and Reporting: Accurately log all service activities, including maintenance tasks, troubleshooting steps, and escalations, into the incident management system.Training and Guidance: Offer basic training to users on the correct operation of printers and other equipment to minimise user-induced errors.Manage Consumables: Order, deliver, and replenish toner, paper, and other consumables to ensure continuous operation of all devices.Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all company and client health and safety policies while performing tasks
