Job Title: Construction Project ManagerDepartment: Property & Development IRE/NIReports to: Director of Property & DevelopmentLocation: Hybrid – HQ BOYLE Sports.Role PurposeAs our new Construction Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all construction/capital investment works, for all key stakeholders.You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of all new construction development projects .This role involves full lifecycle project management -from feasibility and planning through to construction and handover -ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards that support business growth, development, and achievement of BOYLE Sports strategic and operational objectives.Key Responsibilities· Manage and successfully complete the construction phase of all retail development projects relocations, extensions, and acquisitions).· Manage and successfully deliver all other capital investment projects and in-shop modifications and upgrades.· Develop detailed project plans, scopes of work, budgets and schedules.· Management of the contractor tendering process.· Responsibility for Contractor management, ensuring appropriate contractor accreditation is in place (safe contractor, SMSTS, CSCS, Asbestos, etc.).· Managing working relationships with all contractors.· Develop and implement cost efficient management initiatives and design innovations for shops· Track costs, manage variations, and provide regular financial reporting· Instruct and manage external Architects, Surveyors and CDM coordinators.· Always ensure compliance with all relevant statutory Building and Health and Safety regulations.Travel Requirement:Travel is required with this role, throughout the island of Ireland at all locations that BoyleSports operate, as and when required.Essential Skills & Qualifications· A relevant 3rd-level qualification or a certified trade qualification relevant to the role of Project Manager· Strong knowledge of planning, building regs, construction contracts and statutory compliance· Proven experience of architectural design and construction project management preferably within retail sectors· Qualified to RICS/MCIAT/MCIOB level is a desirable but not essential subject to experience.· Basic Autocad skills.· Be flexible and solution-focused.· Availability to travel across the Boylesports estate
