Hours of Work:A 37 hour working week is in operation. Salary: The successful candidate will be appointed at point aligned to point (01) of the Senior Research Fellow salary scale i.e. €77,800 gross per annum. Remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Incremental credit may apply in line with university policy. The interview assessment will be 45minutes in length and will include a presentation of 8minutes duration. Research degree, normally a PhD (Essential). Significant Post-doctoral research experience or equivalent research experience in the public or private sector (Essential). Evidence of an independent research reputation with international record of achievement of high-quality publications within the requisite subject area (Essential). Evidence of research leadership and management, including research supervision experience (Essential). Record of experience in knowledge and technology transfer activities (Essential). Secured independent, competitive research funding (Essential). Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences (Essential). Desirable Demonstrable experience in applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods in studies involving children or vulnerable groups (Desirable). Familiarity with AI technologies, including developing or applying AI models to solve real-world challenges(Desirable). Proficiency in building and deploying advanced technology prototypes, utilising cloud platforms, and web development frameworks(Desirable). Proficiency in using project management tools (Desirable). Experience in using tools and techniques for knowledge management and data visualisations (Desirable). Proven ability to work closely with external stakeholders, fostering partnerships to achieve shared objectives (Desirable). Experience in Design Thinking and Theory of Change Methodologies(Desirable).
