CVS Health, the parent company of Signify Health, is increasing investments in digital, data, analytics and technology and Signify Health is excited to be involvedWe are hiring for a dynamic new initiative for CVS Health that will run out of our state-of-the-art offices at Bonham Quay.This is your opportunity to be involved with a pioneering business that is transforming health care in the United States by making customer experiences more seamless, convenient and personalised.CVS Health is focused on driving business agility and growth through technology, data, digital and experiential innovations.'Digital First, Technology Forward and Data Driven' is not simply an aspirational goal for the company, but a prerequisite to accelerated growth.Bring your heart to CVS Health.Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.This purpose guides our commitment to deliver enhanced human-centric health care for a rapidly changing world.Anchored in our brand — with heart at its center — our purpose sends a personal message that how we deliver our services is just as important as what we deliver.Our Heart At Work Behaviors support this purpose.We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable.As we reflect on our learnings and successes from remote work, we aim to provide a new state of the art flexible work environment in our Galway facility at Bonham Quay to support those objectives.Careers with offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to divide their time between our Galway office and their home office.How will this role have impact?The Senior Data Scientist's role is to transform data into critical insights with respect to core and new products that can be used to make rational decisions by:Collecting and preparing data for analysis – Cleansing / Data WranglingCreating models to evaluate the data – Statistical, Visual, Machine LearningEvaluating models and refining as needed – How well does it work and can we improve it?Delivering solutions based upon the model and communicating their value and useThis role reports directly to the Director of Data Science & is open to hybrid candidates who can be in the office in Galway two days a week.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:BS or MS degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or another quantitative field.Advanced degree preferred.5-7 years of professional data scientist experience (3+ years with advanced degree) with a proven track record of success in delivering high-impact data science solutions.Solid understanding of high-level product architecture and data flow patterns.Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with others.Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to tell a clear, concise, actionable story with data to stakeholders.Significant experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and data visualisation.Proficient programming in Python & SQL.Experience in building cloud native analytical solutions, either on H20, Azure or GCP.Experience in designing/developing/deploying supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, time series modeling, ensemble models, deep learning models.Experience in designing/developing/deploying Generative AI and/or NLP based solutions using LLMs is desirable.Experience working with sensitive healthcare data.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Mine and analyze data, applying statistical methods to identify critical insights for core and new products.Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysisTranslate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement.Build accurate and impactful predictive machine learning models to be used by other colleagues.Give up-to-date model recommendations based on model performance.Collaborate with and mentor junior data science teammates.Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures, including, but not limited to, the Compliance requirements and HIPAA.
