OverviewWe currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients head office on a specified-purpose contract (3 Months).This can be a full-time or part-time position.ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableConfirm invoices have been reconciled against signed delivery documentsInput invoices and credit notes into the accounts system at their correct VAT ratesReconcile supplier invoices and credit notes against supplier statementsProduce an aged creditor report and check that totals match the supplier statements on a monthly basisAssist with chasing missing documents, requesting credits, investigating incorrect invoicesBank Activity PostingsAllocation of supplier payments, identifying queries and investigating sameProducing monthly bulk payment file for creditor paymentsAssist with bank reconciliationsAd-hoc duties as and when requiredSkills and Experience requiredMust have 1-2 years Accounts Payable experienceMust have experience using Sage 50, Sage Professional or Sage AccountsExperience with supplier payments/bank postings & reconciliations desirable but not essentialMicrosoft Office Excel knowledge essentialStrong attention to detail requiredAbility to work towards and achieve strict deadlinesFast learner, able to work to own initiativeStrong communication & organisational skillsThis is an immediate role.For more information contact Elaine Coen on ********* or send your CV today.Check out for more opportunities.#J-*****-Ljbffr
