Role:
The Senior Technical Manager leads the Data Quality Engineering group, driving technical excellence and innovation.
The role involves developing scalable microservices and data validation systems for mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design and implementation of microservices ensuring data quality and integrity
Define and drive technical roadmaps and architectural patterns
Establish governance frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards
Architect distributed data validation services using containerization and orchestration
Design APIs and systems for real-time monitoring and remediation
Implement observability and metrics solutions
Lead strategic technical decision-making
Mentor engineering talent through reviews and discussions
Guide adoption of modern engineering practices
Provide technical leadership for modernization initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities
5+ years of technical team leadership
Expertise in microservices and distributed systems
Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of data engineering, ETL, and validation
Experience with DevOps pipelines and automation
Knowledge of NoSQL and big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark)
Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go)
Experience integrating Generative AI and LLMs
Understanding of system scalability and performance optimization
Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in related fields
Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time streaming
Background in machine learning, data science, or AI
Familiarity with automation tools like Control-M, Ansible
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Knowledge of security best practices
Working Conditions:
