The Plaza Group is one of Ireland's leading independent motorway and primary route services groups.The Plaza Group was formed by the managing directors of Supermac's, Pat and Úna McDonagh, who have over 40 years of experience in the sector, offering world-class food and retail services.We are delighted to announce that we are opening a new Service Station at Ennis (M18), Co.Clare, later this autumn.As usual, our core brands include the iconic Supermac's, Papa John's Pizza, and the delicious SuperSubs outlets, as well as Mac's Diner Deli and our Barista.The Plaza Group is committed to maintaining the traditional values that the Supermac's name has become synonymous with.The company's success is built on a unique menu, ideally suited to local tastes, using food and ingredients sourced locally wherever possible and enhanced by quality in every aspect of the preparation.We are the only quick-service restaurant to use fresh, never frozen 100% Irish beef and chicken.Title: Supervisor -Supermac's/Papa John's/SupersubsJOB PURPOSE:The Supervisor provides ongoing support to the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds the targets established for their unit.The Supervisors work as a team with training coordinators and staff at the unit level.The Supervisor reports to the General Manager.Ongoing support and development is given from the General Manager, and various management duties will be delegated as necessary.The Supervisor is fully responsible for the customers, staff, operations, and cash on his/her shift, and will be held accountable to ensure company policy is met in each area.THE JOB:Ensure the smooth running of the shiftWork closely with your Store Manager to deliver amazing service every daySupervise the activities of team members daily and ensure necessary tasks are completed to meet our high standardsAlways be 100% focused on the customer and your team around youBeing hands-on and leading from the front, committed to developing your teamTraining the team on all aspects of the Supermac's operationsCo-ordinate in-store sales and promotionsTo assist the store manager as appropriate in employee relationsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Fast-paced "non-stop" environment.Physically demanding at times due to certain requirements of the business with regards to the level of business, quality of staff, quantity of staff, preparedness for business demands, etc.Certain business volumes necessitate prolonged periods without sitting down."Only candidates living in Ireland and allowed to work here will be considered."INDSJJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourExperience:Food industry supervisory: 1 year (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
