We are seeking an HGV Driver to join our team in Meath.Responsibilities:Carry out the collection of waste and recyclables from customer sites on designated routes.Safely operate hook and chain trucks for the collection and delivery of skips.Lead and oversee collection operatives on RCV routes, ensuring safe and professional working practices.Ensure all bins are emptied using correct manual handling techniques and returned to the proper collection point in line with company guidelines.Complete daily route sheets, vehicle checks, and safety inspections.Operate vehicles in compliance with company policies, focusing on safe driving, fuel efficiency, and environmental impact reduction.Keep all vehicles clean, roadworthy, and compliant with safety standards.Complete relevant paperwork, including digital dockets and debriefs, accurately and on time.Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy at all times with customers, colleagues, and members of the public.Work in line with all health, safety, and welfare requirements set out by the company.The Person:A minimum of 2 years' experience in the transport or waste management sector.A valid driving licence with relevant categories, along with CPC certification.Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification (advantage).Good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.Flexibility to work across different sections of the business as required.Eligibility to work in Ireland.Previous waste industry experience is an advantage.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €30,******-€48,****** per yearBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: In person
