Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver – Forklift License, full clean driving licence & Computer Skills RequiredLocation: GalwayCompany: The Door CentreThe Door Centre is growing, and we are looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team.This role is key to helping us maintain our high standards in managing and dispatching our range of doors and joinery products.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move doors and materials within the warehouseReceive and check incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notesPick, prepare, and pack doors and accessories for delivery or collectionUse our computer system to update order statuses and manage stock levelsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentAssist with regular stock counts and stock controlWork closely with the sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth operationsDeliver goods to customers when and where required.Requirements:Valid forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience preferred) Previous warehouse experience (experience handling large products like doors is a plus)Comfortable using computers and warehouse management systemsFull clean driving Licence (category B)Good attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamA positive attitude and commitment to excellent serviceBenefits:Full-time, permanent positionCompetitive salarySupportive team environmentOpportunities for growth and trainingIf you are a motivated individual who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in your work, we would love to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV to or drop it in at The Door Centre.Job Type: Full-timePay: €28,******-€32,****** per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payPerformance bonusYearly bonusBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionEmployee discountOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceStore discountSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsOvertimeExperience:Warehouse: 2 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:Forklift Licence (preferred)Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
