Company DescriptionHeffernan Construction, based in Pfizer Newbridge is a dedicated and established construction company.Heffernan Construction has built a reputation for high-quality work and commitment to project success.We aim to deliver superior construction services to our clients, constantly enhancing our skills and methodologies to meet industry standards and exceed client expectations.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor located in Newbridge.The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing and controlling costs throughout all stages of the construction project.Day-to-day tasks include preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost planning, cost reporting, and ensuring projects remain financially feasible and within budget.QualificationsProficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost PlanningExperience in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)Skilled in Cost Reporting and financial tracking of construction projectsStrong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work collaboratively with project teams on-siteRelevant experience in the construction industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
