Responsibilities:
Maintaining ICS (BAS/BMS/EPMS) availability, data quality, service and change management, reporting, and the security of all ICS systems in the datacentres.
Site level ICS program and project management, governing and participating in global initiatives related to ICS systems.
Managing, servicing, and governing Microsoft's electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS), including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure within Microsoft's 24x7x365 mission-critical datacentres.
Governing logical and physical access, approval, and permissions for all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers involved in datacentre monitoring and controls.
Promoting a culture of safety and security in global datacentre operations by complying with CO+I's safety programs and policies, and completing compliance assessments.
Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, along with technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which must be passed upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in building automation/mechatronics in Electrical or Mechanical Critical Environments.
Experience in operational, mission-critical, 24x7x365 facilities.
Design and/or commissioning experience with Industrial Controls Systems (BMS/BAS/EPMS) in datacentre environments, including protocols like Modbus and BACnet.
Knowledge of IT/OT systems, server and network technologies, and virtual environments.
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems operation and maintenance, including power distribution, HVAC, chilled water, and related controls.
Project management experience, especially with agile methodologies.
Ability to interpret schematics, construction drawings, and documents.
Strong project execution skills, resource management, and adaptability.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and provide meaningful weekly reports.
Understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS).
