Banquet Supervisor

A very special person is required for an exclusive special event venue in Tipperary. You must have a professional and friendly approach, be able to think on your feet, and focused on providing excellent customer service. You must be sensitive to peoples needs, intuitive, confident, upbeat, able to work on your own initiative, and equipped with a good sense of humour. What education, work experience, or life skills can you bring to this job? Responsibilities Include: Coordinate details of a wedding contract with the event organisers and the head chef Plan the venue layout according to the number of guests and type of event Determine the number of waiters and servers required for an event Supervise the placement of tables, chairs, table settings, and serving stations to make sure they are placed properly Consult with the head chef to discuss the timing of the dinner courses being served Co-ordinate with the head chef on dietary requirements Oversee seating guests, taking their dinner orders, supervising service to tables, and the orderly clearing of tables Co-ordinate with the bar manager for wine service Prepare work schedules and complete documentation on time Answer customer questions and accommodate special requests when necessary Computer skills required Salary dependent on experience.
