The Team Leader will assist the Community Services Manager in the delivery of a quality client-focused service and supporting a person-centred planning process.
What we're looking for: A third-level graduate in Health & Social Care, a management qualification or working towards the same.A minimum of three years of experience in a similar/related field, preferably in an accommodation-based setting.
Must have experience and knowledge of Intellectual Disabilities/Mental Health difficulties and the HIQA process within residential settings.Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, logistical skills.Any essential training will be provided if necessary.Your Responsibilities To provide leadership to staff on a daily basis in the facilitation and implementation of a Person-Centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of the clients.
To supervise and support staff by identifying their training needs and development requirements.To ensure the delivery of a quality service by designing, implementing, and reviewing quality monitoring systems appropriate to requirements of a residential service and relevant legislation and standards.To ensure that adequate staff cover is provided and participating in the roster where applicable.To provide appropriate support and assistance in all aspects of independent living, in accordance with individual support plans.Closing Date: Wednesday 19th February 2025 Salary starts from €44,397.12 and is subject to negotiation depending on experience and qualification.
