Company DescriptionCastle Group is a leading Irish construction company, specialising in fit-out and high-quality solutions since ****.With a reputation for delivering projects that are innovative, efficient, and sustainable, we work across a range of sectors to provide smarter, faster construction outcomes.At Castle Group, we're proud to combine technical expertise with a strong culture of safety and collaboration.We don't just build projects, we build partnerships.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Health And Safety Officer role located in Galway and across sites in the west of Ireland.The Health And Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing health and safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety measures, and ensuring compliance with regulations in the construction industry.Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor health & safety protocols across construction sites.Carry out regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections.Ensure full compliance with current legislation, best practice, and Castle Group procedures.Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.Liaise with project managers and subcontractors to embed a safety-first mindset.Support the investigation and reporting of incidents, implementing corrective actions.What You'll Need:Minimum 1 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.Relevant qualifications (Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Bachelor degree etc).MUSTbe living & eligible to work in Ireland.(Do not apply if you are not currently in Ireland as your application will not be considered)Full, Clean drivers license.Strong understanding of Irish health & safety regulations.Attention to detail, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude.Ability to influence and engage teams across all levels.
