Practice Accountant

Our client is an expanding and forward-thinking practice headquartered in Galway.They are currently in search of a Practice Accountant to join their team.The ideal Practice Accountant should possess experience in Management Accounting.This represents an exciting and fresh opportunity within the firm, and it calls for a proactive, self-driven individual with exceptional organizational and technical skills.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts that are not audited.Assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.Provide guidance to clients in adopting best practices through technology to enhance efficiency and facilitate growth.Gain proficiency in various accounting software programs (Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to recommend suitable packages and tools to clients.Contribute to the firm's accounting technology strategy and oversee the implementation of new accounting solutions.Manage internal administrative tasks, including timesheets and invoicing.Requirements:ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician.Minimum 2 Years Local Practice experience.Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.Benefits & Salary:Competitive salary range: €50,000 – €65,000.21 Days Annual Leave.Hybrid & Flexible Working options.Professional Subscriptions.Pension Plan.If you are a Senior Accountant contemplating a career move, please don't hesitate to send your CV or reach out to Marc Palecpec for a confidential discussion.GPC Finance will always seek your full consent and engage in a thorough discussion before forwarding your CV to clients.Rest assured that all conversations will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.#J-*****-Ljbffr
