What we do:We develop and operate account and authorization services for Activision games, focusing on secure identity management.
Our services are built on Kubernetes, Redis, MySQL, Kafka, and are deployed on-premises using Ansible, Puppet, and Kubernetes.
They are accessed via C++ clients integrated into proprietary game engines.
Our Dublin-based team seeks a technical expert to lead and develop features in the accounts and security domain.
This hands-on role is ideal for engineers interested in large-scale security and gaming.
What you'll do:Design and develop scalable services with open-source technologies to facilitate player interactions.Enhance and extend Demonware's account, identity management, and privacy tools.Guide the technical direction and standards within the team and across Demonware.Design, implement, and support features, and assist game studios with integration.Maintain and support live services as part of a DevOps approach.About you:Contribute to R&D and technical decision-making for Demonware's online services; architecture design experience is required.Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to align objectives with company goals and product roadmaps.Support team ownership of services and features; strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, with openness to Java, C#, Go, Rust, etc.Mentor junior team members following best software engineering practices.Experience with Linux/Unix environments.Bonus:Experience handling large-scale systems with millions of connections.Familiarity with continuous integration and agile methodologies.Willingness to travel for on-site integrations and flexible on-call work schedules.What Demonware Offers:Relocation support, generous paid vacation, pension, and top-tier medical, dental, and life insurance for you and your dependents.
