Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Native Architect to lead the design and implementation of a number of cloud solutions on our Data Analytics Platform.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting cloud-native applications and services using Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud-native architectures on our Azure Data Analytics Platform.
Lead the development and deployment of scalable and secure cloud solutions for uses cases described above.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain platform design and technical documentation.
Advocate for best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation.
Ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals and comply with security and regulatory requirements.
Mentor and guide engineering teams to adopt cloud-native best practices and technologies.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Databricks, Azure App Services and Azure AI services.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable
