As a Technical Advisor you will support Kilsaran customers and sales/internal teams on matters relating to product specification and applications support.
Responsibilities:
Work within the ethos and standards of the company.
Member of team responsible for Irish and UK product technical support.
Contribute to the design and creation of technical literature.
Interact with clients/customers.
Assist with administration associated with role.
Undertake any training that maybe required to complete your role.
Be flexible in work practices, be creative and innovative in responding to changes in requirements of work.
Assist other departments as requested to ensure company objectives are obtained.
Prepared to travel where necessary.
Attend in a support role any Kilsaran trade exhibitions, training days or sales support days.
Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.
Skills Required:
Education - A construction trade or Level 6/7 in Construction Technology is highly desirable
Knowledge of the build environment across new and traditional construction methods and building service topics.
An understanding of application methods relating to rendering/EWI/OCF, screeding, mortars and paving products would be advantageous though not necessary as full training will be provided.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Good IT skills with experience in the Microsoft Office, CAD or other construction drawing packages.
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Team player capable of working with other to achieve company goals
Excellent administration, communication, and organization skills
Ability to work proactively on own initiative
