Company Overview:Logstrup Ireland Ltd specializes in providing high-quality, custom-built electrical switchgear solutions.Their primary focus is on delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient products that meet the unique needs of various industries, including data centers, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.With a commitment to excellence, Logstrup Ireland Ltd ensures that all their products are designed and manufactured to the highest standards of safety and performance.Working at Logstrup Ireland Ltd means being part of a big family who are all passionate about their jobs and focused on delivering the best possible outcome for our customers.Our success is deeply rooted in a long history of quality and innovation and not least the value of our incredible employees.We pride ourselves on our commitment to innovation, excellence, and creating a positive work environment for our employees.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.Location: Tuam, Co.Galway, IrelandJob PurposeThe Customer Service / Office Assistant will play a pivotal role as part of a team in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by efficiently handling various administrative and customer service-related tasks.Key Responsibilities of the RoleConduct Inspections: Conduct quality assessments on incoming materials and on outgoing products to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.Testing and Analysis: Utilise various inspection tools and techniques to test product functionality, dimensions, and compliance with product specifications/drawings.Documentation: Record inspection outcomes and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformance issues.Calibration: Calibration of key measurement instruments as per the calibration scheduleKitting, labelling & racking: Organising of QC checked parts in to pallets for use in the factory.Includes the requirement to use stacker/forklift (full training will be provided).Collaboration: Work closely with production teams and management to identify and resolve quality-related issues.Provide guidance on quality control processes to ensure product integrity at all times.Key RequirementsAbility to read CAD drawings & tolerances.Experience in the use of verniers.IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.CompetenciesAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities with a strong capability in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.Team Player: Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.Self-Motivated/Pro-active: Ability to identify and work to resolve issues, without direction, as they arise.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent listening abilities.Interpersonal Skills: ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.Willing to learn: Open to taking direction and learning from the team.Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.Job Type: Full-timeEducation:Leaving Certificate (essential)Language:English (essential)Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeEducation:Leaving Certificate (preferred)Language:English (preferred)Work Location: In person
